Most Innovative Project Award

Awarded to an innovative, outstanding and adaptable project developed or implemented by a local public health agency in addressing a public health issue(s) in the community.

The recipient of this award is…

Linda Sobeck
PHNAC Member

Linda is the epitome of a professional public health nurse.  She has taken “lemons” in her life and turned them into wonderful “lemonade.”  Her work on the Environmental Health (EH) Nursing in Colorado project is exceptional.  Although public health nurses are already practicing EH, this project will provide further creditability to our profession and make environmental health a fundamental component of nursing practice.  Thank you, Linda for all your hard work and dedication.  Rock on, sister!!
